• Born and raised in the English countryside.

• Wrote monthly film review column for The Ocelot magazine.

• First class degree in Film Studies, BA at Bristol UWE.

• Joined art collective 'Howling Owl' making music videos, short films and live visual 8mm art concepts.

• Volunteered at The Cube Microplex Art House Cinema and at pre/post production house Films@59, Bristol UK. 

• Short film 'Roscoe' screened at the Watershed Indie Cinema, Bristol.

• Award winning and selected shorts including 'Rose' (2012) and 'One Minute of Resistance' (2017).

• Assistant Camera on Grand Designs (Ch4, Netflix).

• Traveled Europe, South/North America, finally settling in Los Angeles to pursue filmmaking full time.

• Joined various companies as Director of Media, developing and growing video/media content, in addition to producing and engineering itunes chart topping audio/visual podcasts. 

• Opened 'Lucas Wilde Media Llc' in Los Angeles 2016, moving into a directorial role, booking/managing crews and delivering high budget video content from start to finish. 

• Became Senior Editor at Valkyr films based in Culver City (documentary films, agency work) in addition to working in Director of Photography roles; promos, non-scripted, music videos.

• Assisted classes part-time at the New York Film Academy (NYFA) Burbank Studio lots in Los Angeles. 

• Currently working as a freelance filmmaker. 

• When not filmmaking, I'm in the outdoors, running or hiking with my rescue dogs or writing and recording music.
